Welcome to the home of the Singapore Bird Records Committee

This is the Records Committee's homepage for the Singapore Birds Project. We are a science-oriented committee dedicated to recording and providing information on Singapore's avifauna.

Our principles:

Transparency

The committee adopts a transparent, data-driven approach to categorizing, verifying, and documenting records of Review Species. Records are accompanied by the committee's rationales.

Inclusivity

We actively source records from the community to build our collective understanding of our avifauna. Your record submissions for locally rare species will be valuable in our efforts to properly document Singapore's avifauna for future generations.

Relevance

This website will remain an up-to-date, accurate, and relevant presentation of Singapore's rare bird records, reflecting the committee's latest decisions and updates.
