Identification |
---|
Heard an Eagle like call, which made me wonder especially the time when I heard it. Later on was going through possible ids based on what I remembered by comparing with calls from Xeno Canto and instantly recognised the call based on this recording (https://xeno-canto.org/428457) |
Habitat/behaviour |
---|
The bird called around for a minute or 2 and I was around the spot from another minute before walking away. The area is a secondary forest. |
Viewing conditions |
---|
It was post a thunderstorm in the evening and bird was not sighted. |
Observer's experience w/similar species |
---|
Have heard the other form of call similar to this - https://xeno-canto.org/607715 around the gate to Upper Peirce Reservoir. |
