Identification |
---|
Thrush/chat species observed from level 33 (my office) of CapitaGreen on the south-west corner of the rooftop of 18 Robinson Road. Bird was at a slightly higher elevation to me. Very dark overall, could discern a hint of red on underparts. |
Habitat/behaviour |
---|
Occasionally 'flicked' tail. Urban, high-rise habitat with roof gardens. |
Viewing conditions |
---|
<50m with naked eye, very good light. No photo. |
Observer's experience |
---|
Observed in Europe and also 2 records in SG during January 2023. My last sighting was at CapitaGreen, and the bird seen today had same jizz and behaviour. |
Observer's experience w/similar species |
---|
Familiar with the Turdus genus having birdwatched in Europe for several years before moving to SG |
