Some points suggesting possibly non-wild provenance were raised, but these were well refuted.
Due to their ecology and rather specialized caterpillar diet, most cuckoos are also difficult to keep in captivity. Ultimately, all members voted in favor of the record being a wild individual given the lack of evidence to suggest otherwise. |
