Submitting this record in retrospect while doing up my Northern Boobook records from my Dead Bird Hotline database. It was first posted on Facebook but the link is unfortunately no longer functional. This case was then covered by Mothership. Photos and videos on the Mothership article clearly show a Northern Boobook with concussion and suspected brain trauma (unequally dilated pupils). Its fate is uncertain, regrettably. Don't really understand why people can come across a grounded bird with abnormal eyes and think "oh so cute" instead of "is it ok?"...
