Date | 21 Mar 2021 |
Location | Central Catchment Nature Reserve |
Count | 1 individual |
Date added | 15 Dec 2021 |
Background |

Reportedly a heard only record that was identical to xeno-canto 286202. The Sakhalin/Pale-legged Leaf Warbler pair is difficult to distinguish. Given that Singapore's first Pale-legged Leaf Warbler was detected in November 2021, at present, we do not accept heard only records with no convincing evidence (e.g. spectrogram) or sound recording, or seen only records, unless they are of known (and confirmed) continuing birds. Given that this recorder was presented a comparison (the pitch of the two leaf warblers are easily distinguishable when heard consecutively) we accept this record. |
Verdict | Accepted / Wild (Verifiable) |
