Gibson-Hill (1950) states that the specimens of this species from Singapore include 1) a male specimen, which is the paratype of chersonesus (which has since been synonymised with indomalayicus) collected by Kloss (1918) in Singapore but with no date; 2) and two specimens from 16 and 17 May 1904 respectively. However, Wang & Hails (2007) instead states that two females were collected on 16 May 1904, and one on 27 May 1904. Lim (2009) repeats the information by Wang & Hails (2007). We earlier adopted Gibson-Hill (1950)’s treatment; this was later edited after we inspected the specimens, which clearly indicate the date as 27 May and not 17 May. |
