No descriptions in Medway & Nisbet (1967). This record is accepted by both Wang & Hails (2007) and Lim (2009). However, no descriptions are available at all in the primary document, let alone any mention about the significance of this sighting although this species would be the first record for Singapore island. It is simply stated that a bird was recorded "in Changi". We find it difficult to accept this ambiguous record. |
