From the eBird checklist: "Flew east at 1010hrs: obvious large tern (there were numerous Black-naped and Little for comparison) slowly flying east. Strikingly white, with short black bill and black mask (bird was not in breeding plumage with black cap), trailing edge of underside of primaries were dark. Not as pure white as Black-naped on the primaries. Not a 'marsh' tern." |
