From the eBird checklist: "At 9.30 spotted two Sterna terns associating with the Little Terns, larger (longer) that the Littles with greyer upper parts than the Black-naped closely. Obvious long thin tail streamers. Full black crown. Features ruling out all but Common Tern, their jizz was of a more elegant tern than Common. Were seen to dip down to the waters surface to presumably take food. They were rather a long way off." |
