This sighting was the first of a massive influx of this species throughout the whole of Singapore in the 2019/2020 season. It was first sighted at Jurong Lake Gardens on 6 December 2019, and last sighted, again at Jurong Lake Gardens, on 18 March 2021. The maximum count at one time was 5000 birds (see eBird link). After December 2019, this species was sighted at various locations across the country. Their numbers slowly dwindled down afterwards. For specific numbers, see eBird records. |
