| This sighting is not included in Wells (1990c) that dealt with rare bird records this time period. Hails (1987) contains no descriptions. Lim (2009) cites BGN Jul/Aug 1986, with BGN probably being a typographical error for BGNB - Malayan Nature Society (Singapore Branch) Bird Group News Bulletin - that is not available to us as of writing (20 July 2021). It cannot be confirmed whether any descriptions are available in it but we are accepting this record as the species was still not extinct back then. |
