Background
No descriptions in IORA, but descriptions of a juvenile are available in SINAV 8:4 which confusingly was neither cited by Wang & Hails (2007) nor Lim (2009). In IORA, it is listed that the bird stayed "till the end of the year", but a precise last date is listed in SINAV 8:4 as 18 December 1994. We are sticking to the last seen date of SINAV 8:4. The last date in Wang & Hails (2007) is listed as 18 January 1995, while that in Lim (2009) is listed as 31 December 1994. Subsequent records by Peter Kennerley in Jan and Mar 1995 indicate this bird was present for even longer, and we take the last date here as 26 Mar 1995.
