This record is stated as "pending confirmation" in Wang & Hails (2007) and not mentioned in Lim (2009). Descriptions from the observer available in the YahooGroup Archives, "Unlike ordinary sunbirds, regardless of sex, they had a white underparts (throat, flanks, belly, etc) and not a single tinge of yellow. Their wings were pale green. Their bills were short. One had a black forehead and apparently, it was also the other followed when they flew off.". |
