We started searching for the Barred Eagle-owl around 0530. Searching where I saw it with Emma exactly a month ago (https://records.singaporebirds.com/record/10546/) was ineffective. As dawn broke at 0630 we finally heard a response from one individual (two note ho-hoo call, identical to my recording on this article [https://singaporebirds.com/2022/09/13/5-owl-calls-to-know-before-your-next-night-walk/)] which I have not uploaded to an online database as of writing). It only called once and I was unable to get any evidence. |
