Background
This record was initially submitted as an Amur Falcon/Eurasian Hobby. After thorough assessment and consultation with several experts, we reached the consensus that the identification of the bird was an Eurasian Hobby based on the following features. Long pointed wings, as opposed to compact shape that would be expected in Amur Falcon Coarse underpart streaking, which would be narrowed in Amur Lack of dark trailing edge on wing Extensive black hood on head that would be narrowed and more pointed in Amur Falcon We would like to thank our panel members Frank, James, Ayuwat and Martin, as well as Shashank, for the discussions regarding this bird.

This record was initially submitted as an Amur Falcon/Eurasian Hobby. After thorough assessment and consultation with several experts, we reached the consensus that the identification of the bird was an Eurasian Hobby based on the following features.

Extensive black hood on head that would be narrowed and more pointed in Amur Falcon
