Wang & Hails (2007) and Lim (2009) both cite Alfred Chia in litt. The sighting was shared on the (now defunct) Wild Bird Singapore Yahoo Group, quote: "We have yet another record of the Himalayan Griffon visiting Singapore. On 29 December 2006, an immature bird was picked up at an open field in Ang Mo Kio, again in a somewhat emaciated condition - hungry and dehydrated. It was kindly brought to a vet by the finder and this morning, the bird was picked up by me, Doreen and hubby and transferred to a member's house to recuperate. This bird appears however to be in better shape than the one found on 24 January this year at Changi.". Record apparently also documented on SINAV 20:4 (Lim, 2009) but the primary document is not available online as of writing (17 April 2022). |
