| This record was not mentioned in this NSSBG post despite pre-dating the Pulau Ubin record (on 1 Jan 2015) by over 5 months. The eBird checklist mentions the identifier of the bird as Lim Kim Seng, who compiled the aforementioned NSSBG post. A subsequent article in the same blog listed a record from 2022 as being the third, not the fourth, for Singapore. The sighting was not publicized on any public forums until this eBird checklist was uploaded in 2020. These details make it difficult to verify the authenticity of the sighting. |
