Photos available, and we reject this record as the dark and light tailbands are within acceptable variation for Japanese Sparrowhawk. In in fact, they don't even look equal enough for a typical Besra. One of the photos, which shows some sections of the throat, does not show any distinct mesial stripe which on a Besra should be evident at the angle presented. |
