| Wang & Hails (2007) and Lim (2009) both cites SINAV 14:1 for this sighting. In SINAV 14:1, the only mention of this sighting is in the Appendix "A Checklist of Species (updated to January 2000)" that mentions that "1 eclipse male on 6 December 1999" without any other details. As of writing (18 April 2021), the only SINAVs uploaded to the NSS website dealing with the year 1999 is SINAV 13:1 and 13:2 - no volumes dealing with the December 1999 sightings are uploaded. It is hence unclear if any descriptions were published. |
