From the eBird checklist: "Easily the find of the morning. I observed the bird at close range for several minutes from the top of the Chek Jawa canopy tower. It was in the large fig, along with a pair of olive-winged bulbuls and various other birds. It had an olive back contrasting with pale underparts, and had obvious darker streaking on the neck and upper breast. It was noticeably longer-billed than the other bulbuls nearby. The bill also looked less heavy. It vocalized several times, giving a rather thin, quick “djeer” call." |
