Reportedly listed in BIRDLINE. Wang & Hails, 2007, cites "Ollington & Loh, 1999, in Wells, in press" (with "Wells, in press" being the subsequently published Wells (2007)) but treated the record as an escapee. Wells (2007) suggests that sightings of this species in the region could consist of genuine wild individuals. We chose to accept this record given the trend of winter vagrancy in Brahminy Starlings over the past few decades (Soe Naing et al., 2016). |
